This translation will hopefuly be better someday, but I think it’s already better than most around

And well, this song is obviously about finding somebody who will change your life and make things better for you [and this of course means a significant other]

Plasic Tree
Saakasu [Circus]
Lyrics: Ryuutarou
Music: Tadashi
Arrangements: Plastic Tree & Tetsuya Nishiwaki
Translation: Miki

Because this room has nothing else than itself,
water overflows inside me.
Too silent, like a laboratory,
is your celluloid shell.

The sound of my heart alone, covered in blankets, becomes incredibly loud.
With the magic of the words you said to me a few days ago I teared apart.

A strange form:
The pieces of my shattered self.
Why are you crying? you were the one who put them together.

When my prayers begin
Will the outside world ever change?
When my prayers begin
Will the outside world ever change?

~ bridge ~

If a not so cold winter comes, the circus will arrive in my town.
In an empty plaza, look,
one by one the lamps begin to appear as I hear your voice.

~ interlude ~

So then,
When my prayers begin
Will the outside world ever change?
When my prayers begin
Will the outside world ever change?

If a not so cold winter comes, the circus will arrive in my town.
The song of a flower liking elephant.
A fire fearing lion that wants to die.
A deformed donkey. A boy who makes shadows.
They all come together with the tall MC.
From the ceiling, the trapeze artist smiles and smiles.
She falls off. And the me from that day,
the odd walking clown, is finally having fun.

空白の日 [kuuhaku no hi]

Hi~ it’s been a long time, but I could finally make a translation for this site!
I really hope you like it, it’s even better than my old translation into spanish ; )

Plastic Tree
kuuhaku no hi [Empty Day]
Music & Lyrics: Ryuutarou Arimura
Translation: Miki

What if…
On a sunny morning God went missing and everybody went crazy about it?
I’d take a picture to remember that day,
on a roof, with you, whom I love.

As my voice can’t reach you, it’ll start changing into a sad song.

What if…
You saw me skillfully laughing and you were to cry?
then in red, blue and many colors,
my heart would escape from in-between my fingers.

As my voice can’t reach you, I’ll start changing it into a sad song.
Even if the thorns in my heart were to be removed
it would still hurt.

~interlude~

If one day, out of my empty self, the parts of me that I hate were to vanish,
What would remain of me?
Only my hands would remain visible.

As my voice can’t reach you, I’ll start changing it into a sad song.
Even if the thorns in my heart were to be removed
it would still hurt, and that’s why I sang.
That’s the reason I sang.

And this is me, picturing the future with words such as “What if…”

ようこそ!

18/09/2009 at 00:04 (Non-Translations) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

Welcome to まよなかの月 [Mayonaka no Tsuki].

I am Miki, and I’m making this blog to post my translation for Plastic Tree’s lyrics into English.

Why Mayonaka no Tsuki? because this site will be like a mirror for my original site Mahiru no Tsuki, where I post my translations into Spanish, my mother language. And please don’t worry about this, for English comes naturally for me.

I hope you enjoy! I will start uploading as soon as I can get to work!
